To determine which items have fallen below their reorder level, run a Low Stock report. This report will help you generate reorder levels based upon sales in any given time frame you wish. You may also specify whether the orders are made bi-weekly, weekly or twice weekly.
Create the report that best suits your needs. Choose 1 report criteria from each of the 3 sections below:
OPTION 1: Include All Dates: Pulls information beginning from your earliest date of data and ends with your most recent day's data.
Current Month: Pulls information beginning from the first day of the current month and ends with your most recent day's data.
Current Quarter: Pulls information beginning from the first day of the quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1 or October 1) and ends with your most recent day's data.
Current Year: Pulls information from the first day of the current year and ends with your most recent day's data.
Custom Date: Pulls information from the date range of your choice. Enter the date range you require in the From and To fields in a MMDDYY format (for example: January 2, 1998 would be entered as 010298).
Note:
If you want to enter your own date range, you do not have to select Custom Date from the drop-down box. Backroom for Windows automaticallychanges the Report Dates field to Custom Date whenever you type in date ranges.
OPTION 2: Bi-Weekly: Creates reorder levels based upon ordering items twice a month.
Weekly: Creates reorder levels based upon ordering items once week.
Twice Weekly: Creates reorder levels based upon ordering of items twice a week.
OPTION 3: New Levels: Generates new reorder levels based on the given criteria.
Prev Levels: Creates a low stock report without regenerating the reorder levels. A Prev Levels selection will use the reorder levels already in the database.
