This procedure allows you to keep an accurate inventory value for all items, despite selling them in varied quantities and prices.

	Step 1:	Program the individual item as the Base Item with the inventory value of 1.
	Step 2:	Fill in the other fields of the Base Item with the appropriate data as needed.

	Step 3:	Enter the UPC of the carton in the 2nd Item UPC field. Change the 2nd Item field of the POS Pack Size to 1 and the Inventory Value to amount of base items in the carton. Enter the price and cost of the carton in the appropriate fields.

	Note: This procedure is best for the inventory tracking of cigarette packs and cartons.
