Providing solutions in an ever-changing world How to create a new six pack item

This procedure allows you to keep an accurate inventory value for all items, despite selling them in varied quantities and prices.

	Step 1:	Program the individual can (or item) as the Base Item with the inventory value of 1.
	Step 2:	Fill in the other fields of the Base Item with the appropriate data as needed.
	Step 3:	In the 2nd Item field change the POS Pack Size and the Inventory Value to 6. Enter the price and cost of the six pack in the appropriate fields.

	Note: If the 2nd item fields are already occupied by a "2-for" special, use the 3rd item fields for your 6 pack price and cost.

	IMPORTANT:	The the POS Pack Size must be altered in order for the POS to tell the difference between a single can and a six pack.
